With $60B in cash, Microsoft is set to blow up its business
Microsoft's entrance into the tablet market shows nothing less than a willingness to overhaul its business model.
Make lots of sense, as MS can no longer sell 'licenses' at premium prices to stay profitable/relevant, hence, the need to explore new avenues. IMHO if MS plays things right (I.e. hardware + software) especially with tabs, it could well be on its way to becoming something like Apple (but only larger) in few years time.
