Create a library of documents - I have changed the pattern added-blocks Express.

Created Workflow that generates a document in the library.

When opening a document an error

"Cannot open the file due to problems with its contents"

So if it this coding course/ system, then it's most likely that trying to open files from the code produced, into MS Word would be a problem as it would be unlikely to support that file type. Hence the error about 'problems with the contents of the file.'
Might be a better idea to try to open the files with an application such as;
https://notepad-plus-plus.org/
or
http://www.pspad.com/en/
