XP impressions

I love xp so far, have been using it for 7 months or so now, and it is awesome. I love the fact that when you install the os it doesnt need any drivers discs for network cards, printers, cameras, sound, video, anything it has it all, plus it is just so customizable...

I like it.
I run all the 9x versions on other machines as I dont want to pay for another licence but they crash a lot as did this one before clean install xp home.

It's OK I use 2k on my machine and XP on my one of my daugheters machines. I imagine if you turn off all the cartoon crap and the system recovery disk hog then it'd be identical to Win2k.

There are other differences than those. Actually, that System recovery can come in quite handy.

The main thing about XP is that people try to run it and all its eyecandy and bells and whistles with a system with minimum requirements. That's just asking for trouble.
