Microsoft is expected to announce that the next version of its CE operating system for embedded devices will be released on July the 9th of this year.
Also, for the first time licensees are allowed to incorporate changes that they have made to the CE 5.0 source code without seeking Microsoft approval.
The new product is expected to contain a number of enhancements.
