According to a new study by Infonetics Research, Wireless LANs usage will continue to grow through 2006, and one application will grow most of all: voice over WLAN (VoWLAN). Use of the voice over WLAN technology is predicted to "skyrocket" from 6 percent currently to 27 percent by August 2006. Security is currently a big factor in discouraging the technology, but apparently these problems are being overcome, and voice over WLAN is soon going to be everywhere.
