IBM's Workplace software, which provides such functions such as word processing, document storage and calendars, has been updated with support for the Firefox Web browser. IBM announced the move at the LinuxWorld Conference and Expo in San Francisco. Prior to this, IBM supported only Mozilla and Microsoft's Internet Explorer, so it's good to see that the popularity of Firefox is being recognised by large industry players such as IBM.
