IBM has now identified some products that will use the OpenDocument standard. The company has confirmed that its Workplace Managed Client will be able to read, write and save documents in the new format (OpenDocument format (ODF)). The company should also be poised to utilise a Web portal and shared directories to distribute documents in the format.
