Sony has rolled out a new Vaio line in Japan. Designed to be used as media computers, the new Vaio L computers feature a design where the main hardware and monitor are in one unit, similar to the design of the Vaio W computers and some of the Apple Mac designs. Several models are available, featuring Intel's Core Duo processor and an integrated LCD screen, as well as a built-in video camera, DVD recorder and a Felica e-money reader. Available in the Japanese market only, the new Vaio range will be available later this month for around $1400.
