What are Disney-branded portable DVD players doing? Overheating, apparently, and now being recalled, much to the chagrin who bought them a mere month ago. Various models from the line, all based off the "DP3500", have a defect that causes the batteries to overheat, resulting in potential burns or other heat-related issues. With 17 reports filed so far, and over 100,000 units in the field, a recall is probably a smart idea, and likely the manufacturers of the devices are working on a fix. Because who needs another lawsuit?
