Even though Microsoft beat Sony to market with the 360 and also plans to beat them on price, that isn't enough for them and they still are looking for more ways to edge the PlayStation 3 out of the market. While falling flat on their faces with the promise of Halo 3 when PS3 hit the streets, they do have other titles planned for release at the right time in an attempt to shift focus.
This time, Epic is releasing Gears of War, and it is expected to hit on November 12th. While not a title that rolls off the tongue, all it has to do is be impressive enough to open up some pocketbooks and Microsoft could very well indeed steal a lot of market from Sony. What else does MS have up their sleeve? And what will Sony do to counteract it?
