In a long overdue announcement, Rockstar Games today confirmed that their best-selling console title Grand Theft Auto IV is headed to the PC, bringing with it all of the features found in the console version in addition to "newly expanded" multiplayer options - though no details were given as to what these options might be.

Speculation over whether GTA IV would ever appear on PC has been rampant since launch, thought the news should come as no surprise really considering previous iterations of the game have been ported over to the PC - not to mention the series itself began on the PC. On GTA's official website, the company has confirmed that the PC version of the highly controversial game would be hitting retail shelves on November 18th in the US and the 21st in Europe. So there you have it, PC gamers hoping to terrorize Liberty City will have their chance soon enough.
