T-Mobile on Thursday announced the expansion of their Stateside International Talk & Text plan. Starting February 23, subscribers can sign up for a revised plan that includes all of the features of the current $10 plan plus added unlimited mobile-to-mobile calling from the US to more than 30 countries and up to 1,000 mobile-to-mobile minutes to Mexico for just $15.

If you are unfamiliar, the current Stateside International Talk & Text plan offers unlimited calls from the US to landlines in more than 70 countries and unlimited texting to more than 200 countries. What's more, you won't pay more than $0.20 per minute mobile-to-mobile to any number in more than 100 countries.

Up to this point, however, callers have had to know in advance whether they were dialing a landline or a mobile number when calling from within the US as to anticipate the pricing structure. As you can imagine, this caused some frustration over some unexpected fees but with the new $15 plan, that should be less of a concern.

T-Mobile says the plan offers access to more mobile numbers in more countries than any other major carrier. By adding the plan, customers in the US will be able to reach nearly half of the worldwide cellular phones outside of the US without much hassle.

If you frequently chat with friends or family living in another country or plan to take a trip outside of the states, either of these options certainly sound as if they are worth checking into.
