This year's E3 is set to kick off with an opening keynote from Microsoft. You can watch the live video stream here starting at 9:30 AM PT (12:30 PM ET), where the company is expected to discuss more about Xbox gaming across Windows 10 devices.

Microsoft is expected to showcase numerous titles, put in their own words the "greatest games lineup in Xbox history is coming to Xbox One this year," with titles such as Halo 5: Guardians, Forza Motorsport 6, Gears of War 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider likely to make an appearance.

On the hardware front, Xbox One remains the company's preferred gaming platform but news on Windows 10 and DirectX 12 are possible, even though E3's audience is more oriented towards console gaming. With virtual reality drawing so much attention as of late, we might hear a bit more about HoloLens, too, as well as their partnership with Oculus.

Here's a written summary of Microsoft's E3 keynote highlights.
