I rely on a computer every single day of the week. It has become a necessity for my work on Neowin and also functions as my device for viewing streaming entertainment. Although I have not used a desktop PC in over five years, I have always had an affinity for mini and micro PCs. While something the size of a toaster used to be considered small, the advancement of both software and hardware has made even smaller and more powerful devices possible.

Tronsmart's 'Ara X5' is a perfect example of a new wave of products that is slowly gaining traction with each new iteration. While not the most robust set of specifications, the Ara X5 offers an Intel Atom processor, 2GB RAM and is paired with Microsoft's latest OS, Windows 10. The Ara X5 looks fairly good on paper, but will this mini PC be able to handle daily life as a PC successfully?

Unlike a traditional PC that you'd find at your local electronics retailer, the Ara X5 does not come with a wealth of different options and it is not upgradeable. While I previously detailed the specifications in our preview, I thought I would list the full specs down below for anyone that might have missed it.
