Corsair Galleon 100 SD

I was excited about the Corsair Galleon 100 SD as soon as I saw it at CES, and I'm glad that I've enjoyed my time with the deck as much as I thought I would. Combining both a keyboard and Stream Deck in one has had one of the biggest impacts on my day to day gameplay I've experienced in years of testing. Its price tag runs a little high at launch, and there are alternative ways to get close to full functionality (and sometimes extra features) for less. It's still been a game-changer in my setup, though.

Even for those who use the Stream Deck more casually, $350 for the convenience of a two-in-one product is not a terrible price. It’s a luxury I don’t think is worth upgrading to if you’re already happy with your keyboard or your current Stream Deck. If you need one of the ingredients, or both, this all-in-one, single-cable gadget is just a really cool thing.

Combining a gaming keyboard with a Stream Deck is going to be a dream setup for some, but not a game-changer for most. However, this keyboard is really well made and brings masses of functions to your fingertips for a price that, while high, is actually reasonable value.

The Galleon 100 combines a terrific mechanical keyboard with Elgato Stream Deck integration, creating a unique product. From a keyboard point of view, there's a lot to like: the gasket-mounted design has excellent feel in daily use, and the custom MLX Pulse linear switch is fantastic. There are all the usual extras you get with gaming keyboards, and the inclusion of the Stream Deck brings unlimited customizability — you can use it to assign in-game actions, create macros, and do so much more. It is a novel idea, and Corsair did a great job overall. You are paying a premium here, but if you need the versatility of the Stream Deck in your keyboard, there really isn't anything better.
