Lenovo Yoga 520 14"
This is a lightweight Windows Notebook/Tablet with – for me anyway – the all-important touch ability. Other things that might tempt you are USB ‘C’ and narrow screen borders on either side or the screen and the lack of Bloatware pre-installed.

Due to these weaknesses, it is difficult for us to give a recommendation to the Yoga 520-14IKB. In particular, the weaknesses of the display and in the CPU performance weigh heavily. Added to that is the fact that the Yoga 520-14IKB is currently simply aged, since the optional GPU as well as the CPU already have a successor. Therefore, our recommendation is either for a different convertible, or to wait for an update of the Yoga with the Kaby Lake Refresh and the MX150.

Simple to use, it copes well with basic computing tasks like word processing and simple photo editing. It's not a machine for processor heavy tasks or gaming and its battery life is a little disappointing, but considering that its price tag comes under £600 it's still a good machine.
