To summarize the positive changes we're seeing here, the new DWF variant has a much quieter fan with a better fan curve, lower input lag for SDR and HDR gaming, several new OSD features, user upgradeable firmware, small SDR accuracy improvements and a new all-black design that I personally prefer. It's also the cheaper of the two at just $1,100, a $200 discount attributable to swapping the G-Sync module for a traditional scaler.
