The ASUS Tuf Gaming VG259QM is a beast. It provides that buttery smooth frame rate through a 280Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, wide color gamut and contrast ratio—all the while being less taxing on your machine by displaying in 1080p. All that good technology comes at a price, however, one that comes with more benefits than the surface reveals.

The ASUS TUF Gaming VG259QM is an excellent gaming monitor. It has low input lag, and its motion handling is superb thanks to its fast response time, high refresh rate, and Black Frame Insertion feature. It supports FreeSync natively and is compatible with NVIDIA's G-SYNC. Unfortunately, it has a low contrast ratio that makes it less ideal for gaming in the dark, and its compact size may be too small for some.

The Asus TUF Gaming VG259QM is certainly one of the fastest gaming monitors on the market. I would go on to say that if you want a competitive 1080p display for gaming, the VG259QM will not disappoint at all. You do need to calibrate the display before you use it but once that is done, this monitor provides you with the best possible gaming experience in Full HD.

The ASUS TUF Gaming VG259QM is one of the best 1080p 240hz IPS monitors offering the fastest refresh rate and great color accuracy. A great choice for anyone who wants a balance of good colors and performance. Personally we prefer this 24.5-inch version for its larger pixel density, rather than the 27-Inch VG279QM.
