The MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD uses a new AU Optronics panel with Quantum Dot technology and it's very impressive. In most areas it’s at least on par with Nano IPS alternatives such as the LG 27GL850 that we’ve recommended in the past, and in key performance metrics it’s better.
This is a high-end 1440p monitor to compete with products like the LG 27GL850 and Dell S2721DGF in that $500 range. It has a 165Hz refresh rate, wide DCI-P3 color gamut, rated 1ms response times and it’s got all the usual adaptive sync functionality including being Nvidia G-Sync Compatible.
