Benchmarks: Company of Heroes
The Visiontek Radeon HD 4870 doesn't look all that impressive in Company of Heroes, delivering the second slowest result of the 8 cards tested, beating only the Radeon HD 4850. On relative terms however, the Radeon HD 4870 was a mere 1 fps slower than the GeForce 9800 GTX at 1920x1200, while it trailed by 5fps at 1680x1050.
Turning on 8xAA/16xAF settings helped getting the Visiontek Radeon HD 4870 up off the bottom, making it the third fastest graphics card tested in this game. As it stands this game appears to favor Nvidia based graphics cards, at least when testing in the DirectX 10 mode.
