Benchmarks: Fallout 3, Far Cry 2

When compared to the Radeon HD 4870, the new Radeon HD 5770 does best at 2560x1600 in Fallout 3, where it managed to average 37fps with 4xAA/16xAF enabled. Here the Radeon HD 5770 led the Radeon HD 4870 by a 12% margin, while it was also 6% faster than the GeForce GTX 260 and 30% slower than the Radeon HD 5850.

The new card managed to outperform both the Radeon HD 4870 and GeForce GTX 260 at 1680x1050 and 1920x1200 when testing Far Cry 2. However, it was 2fps slower than the GeForce GTX 260 at 2560x1600. Overall performance in this game was good, with an average of 46fps at 1920x1200 with 2xAA enabled.
