BM: Unreal Tournament 3, World in Conflict

The Radeon HD 3870 looked just right in Unreal Tournament 3 as it was just 11% slower than the GeForce 8800 GT at 1920x1200. The Radeon HD 3870 also managed to edge out the GeForce 8800 GTS...

The World in Conflict performance was very similar when comparing the Radeon HD 3870 and the GeForce 8800 GT. However while the Radeon HD 3870 was 6% slower at 1920x1200, it was nice to see playable performance at this resolution. Once again the Radeon HD 3870 was able to outperform the GeForce 8800 GTS.

Turning on the 4xAA/16xAF settings did punish the Radeon HD 3870, sending it and the 2900XT back in last position behind the GeForce 8800 GTS. Playable performance was only possible at 1440x900 with this kind of quality settings and here the Radeon HD 3870 was 29% slower than the GeForce 8800 GT.
