Benchmarks: 1920x1200 & 2560x1600

Now at 1920x1200, even the R9 290X falls short of achieving 60fps, though it came awfully close at 58fps while the 290 averaged 57fps. The GTX 780 Ti was a fraction slower with 56fps, followed by the GTX Titan at 54fps. The GTX 780 averaged 50fps, 5fps faster than the GTX 770, while the gap between the R9 280X and R9 290 was huge as the cheaper 280X averaged just 40fps.

Affordable mid-range graphic cards such as the R9 285 and GTX 760 averaged just 35fps each.

Those wanting to game at high resolutions such as 2560x1600 or greater will need a high-end multi-GPU setup to tackle Metro Redux. Here the R9 290X averaged just 39fps while the GTX 780 Ti was good for only 36fps.
