Question is if getting the free console is tied to the actual release of the game.

  3. nope. i just pre-ordered the game and received a coupon code shortly after. I'm going to order the console tonight after I get home from school.

I preordered it a few weeks ago and I don't see any coupons in my email.

I'm assuming you didn't preorder for OnLive though.

onlive service is appealing with the free system and coupon offer with purchases. but data caps are its enemy! that and my PC!

You can finally pre-order it on Steam, too.

  10. You usually get the coupon for the free console after the game releases.

This game is going to suck bigtime. If ever a game had any ear marks of sucking this game has them all. And no DirectX 11? We pc gamers need to show publishers we expect quality games or we wont buy! I still do not own any console port with a asking price of over $25 (including COD Black Ops). Paid $14 for BF2BC and still rocking with an extra $40 in my pocket from not buying $60 failures. But....this is just my opinion.
