Getting BSOD everytime I try and start up World of Warcraft

  1. I have been playing the game for awhile now and just started getting these BSOD's. Before I can even get onto my character it freezes, blue screen, memory dump, restart computer.
    System:
    Microsoft Windows XP
    Home Edition
    Version 2002
    Service Pack 3

    Dell Optiplex GX520
    Intel(R)
    Pentium(r) 4CPU 3.00GHz
    2.99GHz, 1.99 GB of RAM

    Please Help I honestly do not know what to do and I dont know that much about computers :(

    Does this only happen with wow?

    If so you could try running the blizzard repair tool in your game installation directory.

    Already tried that I think its something more complicated.

    If it only happens with wow and no other games or software i would point the finger of blame at my wow installation.

    If it occurs in other games and programs, you may have a hardware issue.

    I noticed you have opened 2 threads on this same issue. As stated in the other replies, it may be a memory problem. but if you are not having any other problems apart from wow, i can not see this being the case.
