I am running Windows 7 x64 and IE9. I have MSE running and firewalls enabled. Yesterday I got a UAC query that something wanted to load a Shockwave item. Since I didn't initiate it I told it not to allow. Nevertheless, something happened. Suddenly, when I search on Google (but not yahoo or Bing) I can get the search fine, but the links are all redirected to other sites (they vary). I noticed an IE add-in for a Shockwave Object that was dated yesterday. I disabled it and rebooted. No change, although the Shockwave Object is listed as "disabled". I ran a couple of scanners, including MSE and Windows Malicious Software Removal, and TDSSKiller, all said my system was clean. I checked my hosts file and there are no irregular entries, I checked my DNS and everything is set to automatic. I checked the router and it doesn't look unusual. The problem only affects one machine on the network. The other odd issue, possibly unrelated and possibly just a glitch, is that I can't open attachments from Windows Mail. Also, I often get a request to install Flash elements from webpages (including this one). I always click "No". Can anyone help?
