I am running 64-bit Windows 7 Service Pack 1. My anti-virus is ESET NVOD Antivirus 4. It keeps giving me a message that my computer is infected with the win64/patched.b.gen trojan. When I attempt to delete it, it says an error has occured. Since this has started popping up, I have had a constant stream of warning from my anti-virus detecting various other viruses, like my computer is constantly downloading them. Also, my anti-virus has a warning stating: Analysis of application protocols will not function An error occured while starting services. Analysis of application protocols (POP3, HTTP) will not function. Furthermore, my firewall has been disabled and will not restart. Additional symptoms include being unable to lauch a download from the tab at the bottom of my browser and not getting a preview window when hovering my mouse over an object on the taskbar. Requested logs to follow in additional posts. Note: While I followed the directions about not installing anything during the 5-step process, I cannot be certain something wasn't installed. As I mentioned, whatever is on my computer seems to attempt to download more maleware whenever I am connected to the internet.
