Weekend tech reading: Revisiting ZoneAlarm for Windows Vista? Don’t do it
ZoneAlarm for Windows Vista? Don’t do it I wrote this post in our blog over a year ago, and unfortunately things haven't changed much since. Just this week one of our staffer's laptop crashed badly after installing the latest version of ZoneAlarm on top of Vista. Almost two years after Vista's release date, the combo still looks to be a no go. TechSpot Blog.

| captain828 on November 30, 2008 4:13 AM | why do they even bother including it?? a well marketed and good game will sell no matter what!! see Blizzard's games... you can download all of them from torrent sites and not have to pay a dime, yet they still sell like hotcakes same thing with Valve... even with their great "anti-piracy" Steam you find games being cracked and leaked by the scene even the whole "console games can't be cracked" debacle is pointless; X360 and Wii games get leaked days or even WEEKS before the retail release (some current big names: Fallout 3, Fable 2, Left 4 Dead, TR Underworld). So PC gaming isn't dieing because of piracy... if they really wanted no piracy, or close to none, they should just release games only on the PS3, as a quick and easy way of modding it hasn't been found :/ they are only hitting themselves in the balls with pointless protection by making it difficult for people who have actually BOUGHT their games to play them without much fuss I for one have already pre-ordered GTA IV for the PC, but will most probably download the torrent (for the ratio mostly) tomorrow and use a proper crack in my original game so I won't have to worry about DRM.
