Ubisoft back in June launched a promotion in which it vowed to offer up one free game a month for the remainder of 2016 in celebration of its 30th anniversary. The developer has kept its word, initially making Prince of Persia: Sands of Time available for free and following it up with Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell last month.

For the month of August, Ubisoft is dishing out another favorite in Rayman Origins.

Rayman Origins is the fourth main installment in the Raymond franchise. It was originally released in November 2011 for PlayStation 3, Nintendo's Wii and the Xbox 360 before finding its way to the PC in early 2012. Despite its age, the platformer still looks great to this day thanks to its vibrant art style.

Like the other two titles, you'll need to install (or launch, if you already have it) Uplay, Ubisoft's digital distribution platform. Again, just like the other titles, this is a full game download, not a trial or demo. So long as you download it, it's yours to keep indefinitely, even after the promotion is long and gone.

If Rayman Origins isn't your cup of tea, fret not as Ubisoft still has four more free games in the pipeline. Personally, I'm hoping 2004's Far Cry makes the cut as it's one of my favorite first-person shooters of all time.
