It looks as if 2017 is going to be a busy year for Apple, and it's about to start with a hardware event in March. According to a report from Japanese website Mac Otakara, via MacRumors, we'll see a new iPhone SE with increased storage, four new iPads, a red variant of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, and a new Apple Watch bands.

With its competitive price and numerous features, the iPhone SE continues to be a very popular handset. Adding a 128GB option alongside the current 16GB and 64GB models would likely be a welcome move by Apple fans, especially those concerned about the iPhone 8/X's reported $1000 price tag. Expect the new SE to cost between $499 and $549.

There have been several reports of new iPads Pros arriving in the first half of this year; Mac Otakara believes they'll be unveiled next month. It claims Apple will refresh its 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch Pro range, launch a new 10.5-inch Pro model, and introduce a 7.9-inch refresh of the iPad mini 4, which may also carry the "Pro" moniker.

MacRumors claims the smallest of the new iPads will feature four speakers, a 12MP rear camera with LED flash, a Smart Connector, a True Tone display, and likely come with Apple Pencil support. Additionally, all the new iPad Pros are said to come with four microphones.

The 10.5-inch Pro is said to have the same footprint as the 9.7-inch model, but the edge-to-edge design offers more screen real estate. It's also rumored to lack a physical home button, but the top bezel will remain, albeit in a smaller version, to allow space for the front-facing camera.

iPad sales have stagnated in recent times, mostly due to the lack of significant changes over earlier models. Apple will be hoping its new tablets reignites interest in the devices.

Finally, the report mentions that Apple could be adding a red color option to the iPhone 7/7 Plus, along with some new Apple Watch bands.
