Memory Performance
Using PCmark05 we found that the memory bandwidth performance of the Maximus II Formula is much the same as the P5Q Deluxe, which also features the Intel P45 chipset using DDR2 memory.
Again, this time when testing with EVEREST Ultimate Edition, we found that the Asus Maximus II Formula was able to match the performance of the PQ5 Deluxe.
The SuperPI results show very little difference in performance between the two Asus P45 motherboards, though the Maximus II Formula was a fraction slower than the P5Q Deluxe.
