Benchmarks: Adobe, AutoMKV
The Phenom II X4 965 is able to shave an additional 6% off the rendering time of the 955 result. The Phenom performed better than the Core 2 Quad Q9650 while remaining behind the Core i7 940.
When testing with Adobe After Effects CS3 we also saw a 6% reduction in rendering time when using the Phenom II X4 965 compared to the 955.
AutoMKV also reported a 6% reduction in rendering time when using the Phenom II X4 965. The frequency speed bump is good for a small performance advantage but relative results remain the same, better than the Core 2 Quad Q9650 but slower than the Core i7 940.
