2008 server enterprise and kernel mode print drivers

can this os install and manage kernel mode drivers? i have heard and read that this is not possible in 2008 server like 2003 its blocked but i am connected to a TS server where our pdf print driver that is a kernel mode driver is installed and working..How can this be Batman?

Are you running Windows Server 2008 Enterprise SP2? A lot of features that were in Windows Server 2003 Enterpirse don't coexist in newer server. If you go to the MS Windows Server home page you can get all the info you need about the new and old. Sounds like you already have the answer Robin!
