3d Graphics

I was just wondering what is the best 3D graphics program, and what is the best 3d graphics programs for makeing people etc.

I would start by looking at 3D Studio Max, Poser and Maya.

Could you be more precise about what you mean by a 3D graphics program?

Bryce and SketchUp have free versions available.

3D Studio Max, Poser and Maya are well know
rhino does some nice 3d ,
all depends on learning curves and use
houdini was used to help make the movie matrix
and king kong
last ulead makes a 3d program ???
