_RAM_ i need help about this !!!

Hello,
I 've a simple problem,
i am in a high school ,computer's category.
One teacher told me that if i want to add a new one RAM,
the new RAM needs to be in the same (Mhz) the older RAM is.
So now i want more RAM. How can i see how fast my RAM is ?
I hope you understant, i mean Mhz !!!

Sorry...for the earlier post. I should really be asleep now.

If you have physical access to the ram, you should be able to look up the part number on the internet for the speed.
