"Add/Remove Programs" won't open - Win2k

We've been installing a lot of patches here at work over the last couple of weeks and now I have two Win2k servers that won't allow me to open "Add/Remove Programs". (For sure I've installed the Microsoft Security Rollup for SP4, as well as, MS05-039 and MS05-043, probably some others that I didn't keep track of.)

If I go to Control Panel and click on "Add/Remove Programs", nothing happens. No window opens up or anything. The Title Bar of the Control Panel window flashes for a second, but that's it.

Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

I suppose I could try to repair the installation as someone has suggested here: https://www.techspot.com/vb/topic2712.html
But I don't want to have to re-install all my hotfixes and Service Packs, if I can keep from it.

There are some bugs that will cause this.Did you run your Spware,Adware ,Antivirus etc all updated ,of course.

My home computer, running 2000 pro does exactly the same thing. I can run anti-spyware, adware etc and it has no affect. It appears to have been turned off but my computer skills are limited and I don't even know where to go look.

Help me, your my only hope.

I don,t know about that with some" imagination" that Bull could still prove very useful !
Did you read How to Post etc. You would have known to start your OWN Post!
And if you did a search you would of ended up here; https://www.techspot.com/vb/menu28.html
Then you would have seen that there is much more for you to do.
