When I boot my computer, I am getting the error message "The file or directory C:\WINNT\Temp\AeXAM\AeX11.tmp is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility". Once I click OK, similar message appears with AeX11.tmp replaced with AeX12.tmp.
I am able to login to the computer but most of the times, the desktop items or the start menu doesn't appear and it just shows up the background. Sometimes, it allows me to see the desktop but with a few keystrokes or mouse movements to run the Chkdsk, my laptop hangs.
I am able to boot it in any other mode like Safe mode, Safe mode with command prompt, etc..,
I would appreciate any help that you could provide me in solving this issue.
