AGP Compatability

Hi,

I have a gigabyte motherboard with an AGP slot available = AGP V2.0 Compliant , Supports Additional AGP4X/2X interface and Fast Write Transaction. Basically I need to know if I can run a SAPPHIRE RADEON 9600XT without hassle.

Any help would be appreciated.

you can. thought i dont recomend getting the 9600xt as you can find a 9800 for a few bucks more. especially online or on ebay 9800 are aprox 100 now, also post your cpu speed as you might hit a bottle neck.

p4 i assume. then i suggest getitng a 9700, or 9800 as those will provide better fram rates for around the same amount of money.

np, new radoen 9800 sells for aprox 100 on ebay. and a r900 is about same as a 9800 lol.
