Ahci on Xp Pc

Hello, I built a pc that I use for test purposes to test hard drives, hardware and to try software to install them onto my main pc. I have 2 hot swap bays ( 1x 3.5" + 1x 2.5"). I have several 2.5" drives with Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows XP and later I plan to have a drive with a Linux Distro. 1 thing I'm not sure about is that because XP does not have Ahci capabilities, I cannot keep Ahci enabled. So I am forced to change the bios setting for ide-ahci when I plan to use XP. I read different ways to manually install Ahci drivers on an installed XP, but none seem to work. Does anyone know how to achieve this? Do I need to clean install Xp and install necessary drivers to achieve this? Thanks in advance.
