If you're looking for freeware check out AVG or Avast. If you're willing to lay down some cash, buy NOD32.

Althought not many people say this

if you have lots of ram then 'Norton' is probably one of the best to go for

i have it now and its awesome :approve:

Norton is not in anyway the best one to go for, if you want to pay for one, Kaspersky or NOD32 are a pretty safe bet.

Well i really don't know what is so wrong with it

it has improved greatly over the versions

most people probably hear bad things about previous versions and are scared to try it again

Not to knock what you are saying, but after reading a few hundred Hijackthis logs of people with the same infection this week, I would venture that 75% had Norton, 50% had out of date Java versions, and 50% had no firewall
