ALL my other anti virus/anto malware programs update definitions, what does this mean .

Mbar was originally suggested by @Broni , I've used it for years , but reading this https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/187914-mbar-host-failure/ I may be forced to dump it.

Ok, as my FIRST sentence says "ALL my other anti virus/anto malware programs update definitions work, what does this mean .? The green bar showing its updating works.Might there be a free alternative? Thank you

I've been getting this error for more than a week, I think MB finally killed this tool so you subscribe to their products.
