Any way to stop accumulating temp internet files?

  1. It's incredible the volume of crap that accumulates in a short time,
    and using Tools to empty temp internet files doesn't begin to get rid
    of them all.

    Any way to stop them from accumulating in the first place?

    Tools options

    Make it a smaller amount..
    Fix it here and in advanced options to clear when Browser is closed.
    Close it often.

    use crap cleaner. Set it for automatic scheduling.

    I looked at CC, couldn't see how to set it for automatic
    other than for every time I close.

    Hum. As zipperman says, you have a setting to say how much disk space should be used for temp files. Set it to something very low. You may want to consider tightening your cookie preferences.

    Also, not using IE will surely reduce the amount of crap flowing to your computer.

    Set it to 00 then,
    a slow browser will be your next post.:confused:
    Thats the only way i know of.Keep its size small and close your browser
    More often.Use Disk Cleanup each morning.It's not totally automatic.
