  1. At a media briefing in San Francisco today Steve Jobs took the stage to unveil what he claims is "the biggest change in the iPod lineup ever." Most notably, Apple added a front-facing camera and FaceTime to the iPod touch, as well as the stunning 'Retina Display' from the iPhone 4, an Apple A4 core, rear camera with HD video, 3-axis gyroscope, and Game Center support for multi-player gaming. Quite a hefty refresh which essentially makes this an iPhone without 3G calls or contracts, available next week in three versions: $229 for 8GB, $299 for 32GB, and $399 for 64GB.

I just bought the new iPod so cool I'll get in a week or so. Really disappointed with the iPad, I mean yey it's coming but seriously give us multitasking now and the rest on November. We basically bought something that was out of date the day it came out but whatever. I don't care for the nano unless somebody creates a watch case for it. Apple tv caught my attention but not enough to get it. Oh and the new features for iTunes don't work for iPad again Thanks apple really loves ipad users.
  3. Apple can market a piece of wood and paint it to look like an iPod Touch or iPhone or iPad and the consumer will still buy it because it's Apple. Goes to show how powerful brands are in the marketplace.
  4. This 'Ping' deal sounds like a blatant ripoff of blip(dot)fm. I'll stick to a social music site that's not revolving around making money off bloated software and fancy looking trash.

And videos on the new nano=awful. The screen is too small for videos. I guess the video crowd has moved onto the touch though. I'm still using my 3rd gen nano :p. I'll probably pick up the new touch.

and the new iTouch max capacity is.... 64gb.
Geez apple for bringing us all these "ground breaking" and "world changing" updates you could at least give us a bit more capacity for all our music/videos and apps...

Still life in my 5th generation iPod yet. Won't be updating it unless it dies :)
  8. What about the battery life issue. Does the new OS address this issue.
  9. nice revs. vcam will be missed on the Nano I think though. I wish they'd build a thicker iTouch with a big HD. I'll wait for next rev of iPad too - still missing stuff it is.

The Nano seems a bit iOverboard
  11. i want to see more storage also, but as far as apple is concerned flash memory is more expensive, and to keep things cost effective for the consumer means offering the most they can for a price they and theca buyers can afford.
  12. That is a great article but apples news out lets kinda doesnt match yours so im kinda confused?
