  1. Ive been searching for the answer to my porblem all over the internet now im trying this forum im hoping you people here can help me.

Ive downloaded Battlefield 2 numerous times from Ea, and now im trying fileshack. Anyway the problem is that after pressing the battlefield install icon installshield starts up gets to the end then a pop up error reads. "The current version of the application could not be determined. The setup will now terminate". So far i have tried deleting all registry fields associated with battleifeld, searching for virsuses and ive checked my computer specs. even though i doubt its the prolbem and trust me they are fine any ideas people?

you have atlest 4gb free space on your hd right?

do a search for all BF2 files ob your computer, delete them all, then do a fresh dload of bf2 from, also have you cheked out the bf2 FAQ, i find it very useful
