If you understand the difference between "bashing" and reporting the facts, and they ever get it wrong, feel free to set the record straight. I haven't heard them say anything that was wrong. Especially Colbert, who smashes the righties constantly. Feel free to point something out if you catch them telling a lie. I'm all ears.
And there is a difference between a lie and an opinion. I don't watch him generally because he's the typical sheep left wing weirdo but what I have seen is usually not spitting out facts but instead his own stupid opinions. Or mocking Americans for having gas vehicles and not driving a Tesla. Because you know....every American can afford to go out and buy a new electric vehicle. The guy is out of touch with the majority.....typical Hollywood type really.

Considering the absolute collapse in the cryptocurrency market, he has every single inch he needs to make his case.

The market conditions that allowed crypto to grow to its highs don't exist anymore.

The market conditions that allowed crypto to grow to its highs will probably never exist again.

Low interest rates, easy money in the form of stimulus welfare checks. A population with plenty of disposable income with low energy fees - which suddenly turned into high energy, high food and high fuel costs...

Crypto is probably never going to get the "faith" needed to return to glory.

It's game over.

you clearly do not understand ''people'' ... the dumbs peeps that invested will invest again, and people with no understanding of tech will keep buying.. eventually the number of dumb people and 1st time buyers who do not know any better will artificially push the price back up.

As long as there are dumb people on the internet .. this will keep rebounding, crashing and rebounding ...

What war are we currently engaged in? I thought the last place we were at war was in Afghanistan and sleepy Joe managed to do what the Orange One promised (to pull out), but did not do.
I think you have the general facts in order, but , (conveniently ? or perhaps not ?), left out the back story.

It was Trump who set the date certain for the withdrawal from Afghanistan.
It was Trump who released 3,000+ Taliban prisoners.
So, as soon as Biden made good on Trump's promises, he was blamed for that withdrawal which was verily doomed to be a disaster from the jump.

Why, you ask, (or not)? Because maybe Afghani men don't want their women dressed up like Times square hookers. They have an "old school" view on how they wand their social order to be, which dates back a thousand years. So, when America's wallet closes, American;s, "paranoid delusions of nation building", are kicked to the curb.

I'm not a Trump fan but it's amazing how you guys can find ways to blame him for everything. Biden did not HAVE to keep Trumps pull out date. He did a crap job with the pull out. It was obviously poorly planned if planned at all. You can defend him all you like and you can spin things to blame Trump if you like. But the fact is your bias is showing badly and you're about to see just what people think of Biden and the job he's doing.

Arguing that Biden didn't have to keep the agreement Trump made as if it's a defense of Trump is an absolutely pathetic argument that you should be embarrassed by.

Oh but you're "wrong about that". I can't wait til the Evangelical right takes over, abortion is banned, we dress our women in burqas, and Joel Osteen is elected president.

Now, why dontcha spew some of that venom in a different direction?.

Which means that it may be or it may not be. Billionaires have lied so much that I don't even listen to what they say anymore.
Personally, I think its more that they take themselves so seriously that they think that they know what they are talking about - all the time - which is total crap, IMO.

Part of the problem, too, at least as I see it, is that because modern western culture places so much emphasis on making money as to think that because Bill, Elon, and others, are in possession of so much of other people's money, they must know what they are doing. Therefore, since they must know what they are doing as they are in possession of so much of other people's money, their opinions must be completely valid for any and all subjects. IMO, that they are in possession of so much of other people's money does not make it a logical conclusion that they always know what they are talking about. I can give at least one example of where Bill was completely clueless if you wish, but then again, you probably have your own examples.

That first paragraph holds truth about Seth Meyer's and Jimmy Kimmel's night show bashing Trump. That term, " Character assassination" is the first time I have seen anyone use in a comment. Don't mind if I steal it? ;-)
You're one funny guy!!

Fox Noise watchers like you complaining about "Character assassination"!!

You should get your own comedy show!!!

As correct as you may be about that, Techspot does have to adhere to a non discriminatory policy regarding membership

Despite the fact that "the Great Pumpkin" told in excess of 31,000 lies while in office, it all gets regurgitated as "the truth", by the right.

And although it's been said, "you can't fool all the people all the time",it's been proved that 75 million don't know their a** from 1st base. .(Was that a mixed metaphor?)

What are you even talking about? I in no way defended Trump...how you got that from what I said is beyond me. I'm saying Biden (your daddy) is doing a crap job. He and his team did a crap job with Afghanistan. If anyone should be embarrassed it's the people trying to defend Biden who has proven time and time again that he can't do this.

No, I'm not wrong about anything. If you can't call things as they are due to your political leaning then you're showing your bias.

Your second sentence there is so dumb that it's hard to even respond to it. Maybe stop running on emotions and paranoia. And by way abortion isn't being banned its being given back to the state to decide how abortion is handled.

Go try and feed this sh!t to somebody else. "I'm showing my bias", is consistent with , "the pot calling the kettle black".

Well, that's because you so much smarter than me, you know so much more about everything than me, and your way, (which is straight out of the far right playbook BTW), is the only way.

You're "not defending Trump" but he was a much better president than "Brandon".

The force of Hypocrisy is strong with this one..

A good chunk of the current inflation is caused by profiteering in the private sector. As one example, one Amazon marketplace vendor, was trying to get $129.00 for a case of baby formula, which normally sells for $40.00. In the unlikely event that you can count, that's over 200% "inflation".

Now, toddle along and try to figure out a way to blame that on "Sleepy Joe".

And BTW, there's another "state" that outlaws all abortions, IRAN.

Feel free to elaborate...or don't. Whatever.
Sorry to confuse you, so I will elaborate. You can't even conceive of someone becoming educated on new things. Every expert in every field was once a novice. But learning is the key to knowledge, and its concept appears to confuse you.

And there is a difference between a lie and an opinion. There is a certain irony when you call someone else a sheep. But I have faith that this time you will actually give an example of how the talk show hosts have lied.

Backing Bill Gates and justifying in any way a friend of pedophile Epstein is just pathetic. Bill gates is more of an expert in pedophilia than any other fields. Even more, do you know that Bill Gates asked Epstein support (read gave him a lot of money) to persuade some Nobel Prize jury members, being "good" friends of Epstein, so he could be nominalized for Peace Nobel Prize? This kind of delusional grandomania Bill Gates has.

Guilt by association doesn't work well here because Epstein cozied up to many many famous and powerful people in order to get financial backing and influence. To call everyone he cozied up with his friend would be stretching it.

Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Leon Black, Chris Tucker, Alan Dershowitz, Naomi Campbell, and many male and female celebrities etc. all visited his islands and/or flew in his private planes.

Even the famous scientist Stephen Hawking, who is paralyzed from the face down and can't even move a finger, visited Epstein's island. Does that automatically make him a pedophile too?

Biden is currently doing a poor job. Trump did a poor job. Criticizing Biden as a standalone act is perfectly legitimate.

However, crticizing Biden as a way to uplift/praise Trump and to wish for Trump to have won the election back in 2020 (which seems to be quite common) is delusional and conveniently ignoring all of the dumb policies Trump implemented.

And the funny thing is, in regards to economic policies, Biden ironically continued some of Trump's dumb policies to an extent, and Trump was also continuing some of Obama and Bush's dumb policies.

I'm not claiming my way is the only way or that I'm smarter...and you know I'm not saying that.
lol...why do you guys keep trying to get me to defend Trump? I'm not a Trump supporter but actually yeah he was far better than Biden. He wasn't likeable and he says stupid things and creates too much drama imo...but I would take him over Biden any day. But I would take ANY president over Biden at this point.
And I don't blame all the US problems on Biden such as inflation. I just think it's obvious he doesn't know how to handle such problems nor is he good at selecting people to help him make good decisions. But hey that's just my opinion.

I'm not uplifting Trump at all. It's so odd to me that you guys see things that simply are not there. I'm not a Trump fan and I hope like hell he doesn't run in 2024. If I wished Trump had won it's only because I think he would handle things better than Biden but then who wouldn't at this point.

I keep hearing people say Trump's main negative was he said bad stuff...but that's significantly understating what he did wrong.
I personally don't care about Trump saying stupid things. I do care about Trump making extremely stupid policies that harmed America, including:

-starting a trade war with our own allies (Canada, Japan, S. Korea, Europe, etc) when we were in a trade war with China and needed a united front...thus weakening our hand against China
-dismantling the TPP trade deal, which was a strategic trade alliance to unite American allies in the Pacific against China's trade dominance by specifically leaving out China
-negotiating a garbage trade deal with China that forgets the big 500 Billion annual IP theft issue in exchange for China buying table scraps of a few billion in farm goods from red states
-running up annual near-1 trillion dollar deficits even BEFORE the pandemic happened, and was on track to match Obama's average annual deficits even without a recession happening
-Pressuring the Federal Reserve to push interest rates to zero in order to fuel cheap borrowing and prop up the stock market (Biden continued this policy, which is why we have high inflation)
-massive pandemic stimulus spending of another 4-5 trillion that included stimulus checks, loans, bailouts, etc that went overboard and also had very little oversight - which is why billions of dollars were stolen or went to unintended people (Biden continued this policy, which is why we have high inflation)
-encouraging the govt to buy back 5 trillion in securities and other quantiative easing policies to fuel easy money and cheap debt (Biden continued this policy, which is why we have high inflation)
-he gave billions in no-bid contracts to companies with no wall building experience to build his border wall upgrades...sections of which are now falling apart. And those companies with no wall building experience conveniently had donated money to his campaign
-tried to blackmail Ukraine into starting and openly announcing an investigation into Hunter Biden to damage Joe Biden. If Ukraine didn't do this, Trump threatened to withhold military and other aid (this was using US aid to meddle in the US election and was basically blackmail, which got Trump impeached the first time)
-constantly praised Putin, criticized European leaders, divided NATO, and regurgitated Putin's propaganda talking points against the USA & Europe (no wonder why Putin invaded after Trump left office - they lost their useful fool!)
-constantly went against the advice of his own generals such as Army General Milley, Army General McMaster, Marine Corp General Mattis, Marine Corp General John Kelly, etc. Then Trump badmouthed/trash talked his own generals after they left his administration and criticized him or stated they disagreed with his policies.
-despite all of his praises of dictatorships like North Korea and its leader Kim Jung Ung, his policies accomplished nothing. His praises of other dictators like Putin and Xi Jingping also got the US nowhere.
-then you get into the COVID mess where he was praising China and Xi Jingping's handling of COVID all the way up until March 2020 when it finally became obvious that China was lying to him. So of course, he finally switched narratives to start blaming China. Then he started making claims that it wasn't a big deal. Then he challenged the story that it was a big deal but it would all eventually disappear as if by magic. And he kept changing the narrative to downplay it even though the country started having lockdowns and hospitals were getting overwhelmed.

And that's not even getting into after he lost the election and then concocted a conspiracy of massive voter fraud to claim he actually won the election - which was refuted by his own top level staff such as his cyberchief Chris Krebbs, his own attorney general Barr who did a DOJ investigation, his postmaster general, etc. And the Republicans who supported him in the Senate and House, Georgia governor Kemp was supported him, conservative federal judges etc all looked at the evidence during recounts, audits, and judicial proceedings and all concluded his mass voter fraud claim was nonsense. But then he still pushed the nonsense and incited a riot in the capital on Jan. 6th that involved people breaking into and vandalizing the Capital Building and threatening to lynch the vice president Mike Pence.

We wouldn't even have Biden in charge if it wasn't for Trump because any random decent Republican could've beaten Biden. Biden won because he was bad but still better than Trump level bad. Biden is bad, but Trump is flaming dumpster fire levels of bad.

Saying "I wish Trump won in 2020 because Biden is doing bad now" is uplifting Trump by criticizing Biden.

Trump had it lucky by coasting through the first 3 years of his presidency with no major challenges happening. He was riding on the coat tails of the economic boom that started during Obama after the economy recovered from the Great Recession in 2011. Trump f-ed it up when 1 single major challenge (COVID) appeared. Biden is F-ing up the juggling of 3 major challenges (lingering COVID, Russian invasion, and inflation + possible recession).

As I mentioned above, Trump had some massive screw ups and garbage policies even when nothing particularly bad was happening, and then totally screwed it up when the first real challenge appeared. There is no way he would be able to handle 3 challenges at the same time when he couldn't even handle 1 single challenge competently.

As I said before, Biden is a terrible president, but Trump was on a whole differerent level of being a flaming dumpster fire terrible president.

I've said nothing to defend Biden, but like a typical Trump brown nosing complete *****, you throw out childish insults as soon as you feel threatened. You have presented no good arguments and everything you've said here is a perfect example of how detached from reality Trump lovers are.
