Black Blotches on screen

A few days ago our flat unfortunately had a water fight, in which a few specs of water got onto my computers LCD monitor. For the past couple days 4 black blotches in each of the corners has been slowly spreading each day. Is there anything I can do to help remedy this problem? cheers

You will need someone with hardware experience to pull apart the screen and then totally clean out the electronics using circuit board cleaner

I've tried turning it upside down for the night and putting it in a weel ventilated area, it's stopped the spread at the top but made the bottom spread a little more unfortunately, i might try and play the waiting game.
