Blue Error Msg

hi
im keep getting these blue error msgs, 000000x8e 000000x7f 000000x50 etc etc nearly 1 1/2years. i also install new window XP recoverd everything but after few weeks again im getting blue error msgs and the computer speed is slow. Can someone please give me some advice
Do need to get desktop repair or something? i really gettin confused

Yes you can take it to PC World and tell them about the Blue Screen and ask about checking the memory

Do you really mean a string of 4 or 5 codes that look like
0x000008e 0x000007f 0x0000050....?
If so and you haven't gone the expensive route yet go to
http://support.microsoft.com/
in the top search bar type the word error the your first error code, like this:
error 0x000007f
as you type different error codes will appear. Scroll thru the results and see if you can find an answer that fits your situation.

You may also be able to do this:
right click My computer. Select Manage. Select Event viewer. Select Appliction (or system). Find the error. Double click it. In the explanation, click the hyperlink to M$. It will take you to the error resolution, if present.
