Blurry Icons and Pictures

My desktop icons and other icons are blurry and so are all the pictures i view, including on the web. but words are just fine. is it my resolution or what. Please help me!

Have you installed the drivers for your graphics card?

What resolution are you currently using?

Alot of problems invoving blurring are due to refresh rate, you can change this by going to Properties (right click desktop), then Settings then Advanced then click on the Monitor tab.
