  1. Hi,

Is it possible to have 2 x broadband connections onto 1 network ? is there a router that supports this ? one of our customers wants to have 2 different ISP's into his network. Would we need 2 routers and would it work or would he get conflics ?

    Help Appreciated

    Cheers Joe

This would only work if they have two phone lines into the premises because you can only have one broadband connection per phone line. Therefore you will need two adsl routers, unless one line is cable of course. I suspect switching from one to the other could be fiddly but not impossible.

I think the real question is why does he want two broadband connections into this network?

I don't know, but would guess, he has a "functional requirement" that can probably be served by a different technical solution.

So you know why he wants two? For what?
