Can tech companies legally cancel service to hate groups?

Ok...this explains your ignorance...how? Oh. I see. You didn't think the root of knowledge was worth pursuing because you'd have to be a professor or intellectual (perhaps an author) to major in such a field and make a coinciding job tied to that major. Like I said...if you had taken a Philosophy 101 course, not even majoring in the field, you'd be a lot more informed because you would know the rules of actual logic (using the word, and knowing what it means, is a lot different). I'd insert a non related anecdote for fun, like you did, but I've got some stuff to do. Anyways...in the meantime, look at that book I referenced for you. You could learn a lot without even taking that intro college course.
What my post explains is that I'm abundantly disinterested in being lectured at by you.

And BTW, I took sociology 101, which explains a lot more about people's action in groups, than psych 101 ever will.

I think the next semester I took Criminology 201.

As for philosophy itself, look at all the wonderful outcomes Nietzsche's work brought forth. (y)

No worries buddy. Sociology was one of my 2 majors. It's a phenomenal subject. I wasn't out to lecture you. You seemed misinformed about the concept of "common" sense and I thought I could help you out with a recommendation. If all aspects of knowledge are a family tree, the root would be philosophy. No philosophy, no sociology, biology, astronomy, etc, etc. Granted, it may not interest most people. However, that doesn't mean it's not the most fundamental aspect of academia. I never mentioned psych...though that's a great subject (I enjoy a lot of Jordan Peterson's work, though I disagree with him on some things, as anybody would). Maybe you meant Philosophy. Anyways..."Making Your Mind Matter." Or don't look into it. You may enjoy it. I don't care either way but I enjoy healthy debate, and without knowing formal logic along with formal/informal fallacies (both covered in that book) it makes it hard to have a real debate on issues. Have a good day!

Love the left everyone who disagrees with their philosophy is evil and must be banned, the greatest threat to freedom and free speech is stopping anyone from saying what they think even if you disagree with it . Many brave men and women have died for this right and to see a bunch of panty waisted left wing loons try to destroy the rights and freedom guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States of America is enough to make me puke. I do not agree with all that is said but I will die fighting to protect the right to say it.

Logic and philosophy fail in the face of modern life and convention. Nothing is "logical" about entire segments of our population worshiping some no talent, lard a**ed skank like Kim Kardashian. And frankly, from what I've seem,. she really isn't that good at being Kim Kardasian.

Logic also fails in the face of human duplicity, opinion, and ulterior motives. Propaganda is a direct assault on allowing the public to look at a topic philosophically or logically.

Accordingly, while, "I think therefore I am", may have been groundbreaking in its time, it is bordering on useless in the throes of a race riot. As I mentioned earlier, look how Nietzsche's thought were distorted to suit the purposes of the 3rd Reich.

I do appreciate "knowledge for knowledge's sake", I just think philosophy and logic may be a stretch trying to interpret this topic.

In fact, just last night, I wasted a couple of hours investigating 'rabbits as pets'. Which is strange, since I'm a 'cat person'. Big rabbits don't live much past 4 or 5 years, and I see too much heartache involved with that short of a pet's lifespan. Logically then, rabbit's are out for me. I learned they can be litter trained though, something I didn't know.

Back to being not quite so far off topic, the rules of logic, (at least these days), are primarily found in computer programming statements.

In any case, I'm not averse to learning new things, or taking suggestions as to what they might be. I do however, balk at the idea of having them force fed to me. Peace.

We'll have to agree to disagree on some points. I don't think logic "fails" because people have opinions. I also think there are many logical reasons vast swarms of our population love reality tv (psychological/socioeconomics). You seem like a very intelligent guy. I think if you trained up a bit on what I've recommended...You'd be freaking formidable. I mean that. Not as in scary...but you do seem to have a higher intellect than most, and if you got some training...you'd be whooping some intellectual ***, for sure. Anyways...we'll agree to disagree on some tacts, while I also praised you. Feel free to write back a clever retort, or we can both pretend you got in "the last word." ;)

Oh gosh, I was having a fun Saturday night, alone, feeding my cats, and watching our society disintegrate from a safe distance, when what to my poor wondering eyes should appear, but another salvo of your naive, misinformed, sanctimonious blather. However, count me in as someone who has no intentions of 'agreeing to disagree', with you, and as someone who actually does know what the NAACP is about.

The NAACP is the 'make white people feel terribly guilty over slavery' propaganda and legal arm of the civil rights movement. And quite a successful voice at that. The truth is, as long as the NAACP exists, black people will never achieve 'equality', because the NAACP will always be able to conjure up another fictitious inequality, to rub the white public's nose in. This is something it must do, to continue to justify its own existence.

As a prime example, in the days of slavery black people were referred to as, "expletive deleted'. So, that was dialed back to 'colored'. But then, people of color found that offensive, 'because it still reminded them of the antebellum south, and segregation'. So now, here we are in the age of Caucasian people being forced to refer to them as, 'African Americans'. Should a white person of any authority deviate from that protocol, he or she runs the risk of public humiliation, being branded a 'racist, and of a more substantial punishment, loss of career.

Yet, "the "N" word" spews ceaselessly out of every loudspeaker in the "ghetto", which if I may be so bold as to point out, you're paying for. Yet white people sit idly by to the racist tomes, all the while being too stupid to realize, it's not 'an innocent expression of culture', but rather a never ending mocking and indictment of days long past. If 'people of color' wanted 'true equality', they would censure their own kind, and delete that pejorative term from their own vocabulary as well.

Oh but they do, by extension. Police officers have been literally 'hunted', at, 'black lives matter events' . But organizations like the NAACP have been responsible for whipping the less stable, and more violent members of their group into the frenzy which caused the killings. Then they go into 'damage control mode', and throw those violent actors to the wolves, or if you prefer 'under the bus', the more contemporary colloquial term for, (as they say in Mission Impossible), "if any of you are caught or captured, we will disavow any knowledge of your existence".

Yes, and they make damned certain they have a national audience when they do it. I tend to remember individuals like, "the reverend" Al Sharpton, who spew non stop hate in the name of racial equality, while hiding behind a cross. It's just that Sharpton never set that cross on fire, which seems to sanitize, (at least to your apparent satisfaction), his vitriolic, vengeful outbursts. You sadly, seem to have swallowed the hype and deceit, hook, line and sinker

Well, 'the pen is mightier than the sword' or so they say. While I say, 'sometimes fools read on, without knowing when to put down the book'.

I covered that earlier.

As an example, the Saudis fund "Madras schools" which teach hate of the US and its values, yet they deny their existence when it comes time for the US to supply them with a couple dozen or so, F-16's.

So, now you know what, "Cranky is mad about today". Please feel free to post back if you'd like to hear more...
Thanks for your latest outburst of anger, Cranky. I hope you feel relieved.

How about weighing in on what you think the basis of the problem is? I think what you are seeing is a symptom of the actual problem, and not the reality of it. Seeing the problem for what the problem is is an art that tends to be clouded by one's own views. As I see it, until then, all you have is the ramblings of an over-the-top angry person.

Or better yet, keep watching those rabbits. That will bring some sophisticated and intellectual insight! LOL

Well, watching rabbits does yield some insight into the third world's reproductive habits. They breed like rabbits, then show up on our doorstep looking for a handout. Poor things. Open your door to them. Surely you've got a spare bedroom or to to keep a few refugees as pets. Maybe you could host a cookout for the black lives matters crew. Don't invite those darned Nazis though.

As far as anything past those suggestions go, I see you're still fixated on my so called "anger", but have yet to shed your 'holier than thou', 'I know it all', superiority complex.

If you know so much about what the world's problems are, you should stop wasting time trying to provoke lil' ole' me, find yourself a soapbox, then set the rest of the world straight as well. (y)
Or is provoking me about the upper limit of your massive social reform skills? Like so many of your ilk, you talk a good job.

What I see as the basis of social issues in the US, is a bunch of bizarre, overindulged, punk a** little SJW snowflakes, with too much time on on their hands, spewing a bunch of impractical, idealistic nonsense, and bullsh!t. One could sit around and pray they'd grow out of it, but they likely never will.

How could we fix that? Reinstate the draft.

As they used to say on TV, "back to you Bri..." :p

You made some interesting points earlier, and now you're back to a lot of crazy. Do you only get your news from Fox/Breitbart? I read Fox everyday, because I like to know what others are thinking or getting in their news feed. I tried Breitbart, but it's on the same level as a tabloid, so I quit on that one. What other crazy ideas can you share? Flat earth? Bigfoot? 6k year old earth? Creationism?

Get over yourself. Things or people aren't crazy either because they don't agree with you, or you simply say they are.l

Vinyl's made a comeback. Didn't you know?
Only for people stupid and snobby enough to buy into it.

"I'm better than you, I listen to vinyl records"......hiss.....snap,..... crackle....pop, (spare me).`

What's great about vinyl is, the recording industry can get you to buy a copy of music you already own, all over again.(y)

Not to mention the turntables, cartridges, and record cleaning accessories.

Stop jumping around kids, daddy's trying to listen to his new vinyl record...:mad::mad::mad::mad:
